General Freight/Shipping Policies

Dealer Direct Orders

  • Free Freight on Orders Over $500 – on most Items
  • $14.95 Flat rate – Accessory Orders from $0 to $499
  • $29.95 Flat rate – Firearm Orders from $0 to $499

Dealer-provided third-party shipping freight will be charged to your provided account information. For assistance, contact Customer Service at CS@gunasccessorysupply.com.

  • Drop Shipments: Orders not shipping directly to the dealer location do not qualify for the 2025 Stocking Order/Freight Program.
  • Air Shipments: Orders requesting expedited delivery (e.g., UPS 3 Day, UPS 2 Day, UPS Next Day, FedEx Air, FedEx Air Saver, USPS Priority, USPS Express Mail) do not qualify for the 2025 Freight Program and will be charged the published rate or the freight policy rate, whichever is greater.
  • Special Orders: Orders that fall outside the normal scope of business, such as special orders and those with higher-than-normal dimensional weight, may not qualify for the 2025 Freight Program and will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
  • Carrier Selection: Under the 2025 Freight Program, Gun Accessory Supply reserves the right to choose the carrier. Orders requiring a specific carrier will be billed Freight FOB from our facility or the factory facility from which the order ships.
  • Non-Continental Shipments: Shipments outside the Continental United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, do not qualify for the 2025 Freight Program, and will billed at actual freight.
  • Ammunition: Orders that include ammunition qualify for our flat rate shipping program when shipped to the following states: CA, OR, WA, NV, ID, UT, AZ, and Western MT. Orders outside of this policy will be charged $10 per shippable box. Ammunition can only be shipped within the 48 contiguous United States.

Dropship Program

  • Accessory Orders and Ammunition up to 20 lbs: $14.95 flat rate (per package)
  • Firearms, Ammunition over 20 lbs, and all Packages over 36”: $29.95 flat rate (per package)

Dealer-provided third-party shipping/ freight will be charged to your provided account information, including insurance and applicable fees requested.

*Accounts that have supplied Gun Accessory Supply (GAS) with a CA State Board of Equalization Seller’s Permit and corresponding Resale Certificate will be exempt from applicable CA tax fees.

Shipment Times

Most orders placed prior to 1:00pm PST will be shipped the same day. However, during peak periods, this could be changed to the following day. Estimated ship times are as follows

Damages

Claims for damaged shipments must be made with the carrier immediately upon receipt to ensure proper claim processing. After the initial report of damages to carrier, please reach out to GAS Customer Service providing pictures of damages, including top and bottom of package, and the Sales Order or Invoice number. Upon receiving this information GAS will begin to review and resolve the issue.

Reminders/Changes to Prepaid and Third-Party Shipments

Please note that Gun Accessory Supply will choose the most economical carrier for all freight program shipments leaving our facility. Currently, we utilize UPS, USPS, and FedEx, and several freight carriers at our discretion. If a customer has special requests/requirements for a particular carrier or shipping method, they will be responsible for all of the shipping charges/fees.

Additionally, third-party billing customers should be reminded that when selecting a carrier, they are 100% responsible for the shipment once it leaves our facility. Gun Accessory Supply is not responsible for that shipment, including delivery, proof of delivery, and/or filing claims should the package become lost or stolen. Based on this risk, our customers who use third-party billing are encouraged to request “Signature Required” by any carrier to reduce their exposure.

Special Shipping - Restricted to Ground transportation only.

(Limited-Quantity Dangerous Goods) is a marking on packages shipped within the United States that contain:

  • Aerosol Cans
  • Some Batteries
  • Some Chemicals
  • Ammunition
  • Other similar materials

 Limited Quantity products cannot be shipped via air. This includes FedEx Air, FedEx Air Saver, UPS 2 Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, USPS Express, and USPS Priority.
